S. A. Poll Hereford Juniors

At the annual Naracoorte Show and Sale dinner in March 2005, the SA Juniors held an extremely successful semen auction. With guest Auctioneer Tom Honner at the helm a total of 28 straws were sold in six lots to raise a total of $3225. Top price on the night was $850 for 4 straws in Debarry Highlander kindly donated by Keith and Laurice Bennett, Heatherdale, and purchased by Stuart Adlington, Glen Eyrie. The Junior members would sincerely like to thank all those studs who not only supplied semen but also those studs who offered to supply semen for the event and an extra special thank you to those who did purchase semen.

• 4 Straws in Heatherdale Opium donated by Heatherdale sold for $525 to Laucke-Merrina
• 4 Straws in Debarry Highlander also donated by Heatherdale sold for $850 to Glen Eyrie
• 5 Straws in Bar-E-L SBS Pirate donated by Minlacowie sold for $550 also to Glen Eyrie
• 5 Straws in Markowen Crusader donated by Markowen sold for $500 to Wolbull
• 5 Straws in Keswick Roger Moore donated jointly by Merrina and Morganvale sold for $325 to Kurrum Burra
