SA Polls enjoy success at Dubbo 2001

Well done to the six South Australian breeders who made the long trip to Dubbo for the 2001 National Poll Hereford Sale!  

The success of South Aussie bred bulls at the 2001 National Poll Hereford Sale in June, clearly shows the depth and strength of the current breeding programs in SA.  Local breeders enjoyed very good results in the judging and the sale ring with both the Grand Champion Bull and the Top Sale Price Bull being shown by South Australians.  

South Australians also provided good buying support at Dubbo Sale with Williams Cattle Company, Carrieton a major volume purchaser buying 13 bulls for a $3150 average for their properties in the Oonadatta district.  Six SA studs were also active at Dubbo securing new sires for their herds.
